SOLID DIECAST ALUMINUM: We've made the Quantum satellite from solid diecast aluminum, a minimal resonance material. The dual 3 in. mid-bass drivers have carbon graphite cones and rubber surrounds. The Quantum features an automatic overload protection circuit to prevent blowouts and is backed by Pinnacle's incomparable 10 year transferable warranty. OUR NEW PURPLE PLASMA TWEETER: The Quantum's remarkable performance is due in part to its cutting edge titanium substrate tweeter design. Ultra lightweight titanium exhibits superb acoustical characteristics which results in the most revealing high frequency response obtainable. THE TECHNICAL CHALLENGE: At higher listening levels the ultra lightweight titanium can become hyper-excited and lose control thereby reducing its accuracy and linear response characteristics. THE PINNACLE SOLUTION: We employ a special patented process known as Cathodic Arc Evaporation which provides a protective plasma vapor coating to the titanium diaphragm. This coating allows the tweeter to maintain control even at he highest frequency ranges. The resultant sonic performance is exceptionally linear and stable. The pleasing purple hue is derived from the application. MVP (Multi-Variable Positioning) PIVOT BASE: Unique Pivot Base allows you to rotate the Quantum by any increment up to 90 degrees from either a vertical or horizontal position and also allows for wall mount applications.
