The ADS USB 2.0 Drive Kit turns an internal 3.5" IDE hard drive into a hot swappable, plug & play external USB 2.0 drive. The kit is also compatible with USB 1.0 and 1.1. ADS drive enclosures are conveniently stackable. Features: • High Speed Operation The USB 2.0 Drive Kit will maximize the data throughput of the installed drive. USB 2.0 offers a speed of up to 480 Mbps. • Cool and Quiet The Drive Kit enclosure includes a silent ball bearing fan to keep the drive cool and running smoothly and quietly for thousands of hours. The fan includes protective metal fan guards on the inside and outside of the enclosure. • Simple Installation Connect the power cable and the IDE cable of the drive to the ports inside the enclosure and the drive is ready to be used as a plug and play USB 2.0 device.
