This is a collection of Sherlock Holmes stories, contains 2 films on 1 DVD. THE SECRET WEAPON The Secret Weapon is the fourth of the Rathbone/Bruce Sherlock Holmes stories and probably the most action packed. This story, timely in 1942, finds the evil archenemy Moriarty working for the Nazis to steal the design for a new bombsight. You will always remember the suspenseful ending wherein Holmes allows Moriarty to drain his blood very slowly in an effort to buy more time in order to foil the evil genius. The story is loosely based on the Arthur Conan Doyle story The Dancing Men. THE WOMAN IN GREEN The Woman In Green is based on the Arthur Conan Doyle story The Adventure Of The Empty House. The story contains all of the elements we love to see with Basil Rathebone and Nigel Bruce, a beautiful mysterious lady, and a series of murdered women whose index fingers have been removed. Once again Holmes battles the evil Professor Moriarty and in another suspenseful conclusion Holmes is hypnotized and wanders precariously along the ledge of a penthouse apartment.
